PCS Research Technology Adds Significant Search Tool to PlacementTracker
SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 9, 2002--PCS Research Technology Inc. (OTCBB:PCSR - News), a leading financial technology company and provider of independent research to institutional investors, today announced the addition of a new custom search feature called PIPE Candidate Research to PlacementTracker, the nationally recognized source of data and research on the PIPE (Private Investment in Public Entities) market.
PIPE Candidate Research allows its subscribers to search for public companies that are likely to raise outside capital in the form of a PIPE. The feature allows users to search the universe of NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ companies to find out which companies are in the most need of a capital infusion based on their cash position and current burn rate. Subscribers can then determine whether the company is eligible for a PIPE based on recent PIPE activity, dilution assumptions and resale liquidity assumptions.
Robert Kyle, executive vice president of PCS Research Technology, said, "Providing our clients with the ability to search for companies in need of capital should greatly assist their efforts in completing more PIPE transactions. This tool should be particularly helpful in this market environment, where the only true capital raising option for many companies is a private placement."
